The Melody of Strength
After the death of her husband Gisela Hoffmann gradually begins to blossom again as a new love enters her life. But a constant inner unrest increasingly robs her of strength and the courage for this new love and her movements become slower. Then in 1999 she finds out for sure – she has Parkinson's disease. She then makes her way from stiffness out into nature. To counteract the stiffening in her muscles she plays tennis and goes cycling. Sometimes emotional fears threaten to rob her of her stability but her new partner then lovingly gives her the support she needs.
