The fear of injuries goes down to her bones. The disease starts off slowly and deaf. Eventually, a slight fall is enough to break a bone. It’s hard for Marion Knebel to move, she retreats from active life, avoids all risks. Because of osteoporosis she feels like a fragile, dead tree. Meanwhile, her pains were significantly eased. On a daily basis she feels liveliness flowing back into her body. And she is proud of all the things that she dares to do again.
